Get eligible digital documents prepared for international use with electronic apostille processing. Long Island Notary Services helps you avoid mailing delays, confirm the correct apostille route, and receive completed documents electronically when available.
Electronic Apostille is for eligible digital documents that need authentication for use in a Hague Convention country and can be processed through an electronic apostille path.
Not every country, agency, school, consulate, or receiving party accepts electronic apostilles for every document type.
Before booking, confirm whether the recipient will accept an electronic apostille or if they require a traditional paper apostille.
We review your file before processing to confirm whether it appears eligible for electronic apostille, needs electronic notarization, or should be handled through a traditional paper apostille path.
When the document qualifies, the completed electronic apostille is delivered digitally with verification details for the receiving party.
Electronic apostille may be useful for eligible digital personal documents, authorizations, affidavits, declarations, and other files prepared for international submission.
Use electronic apostille for eligible digital business documents where the receiving party accepts electronic authentication.
Some educational and legal documents may require specific certification steps before they can be apostilled electronically or traditionally.
Electronic apostille is designed for qualifying digital documents and electronic delivery. Paper apostille is better for original wet-ink documents, certified originals, or recipients that require physical documents.
Electronic apostille can save time, but the receiving party’s rules control whether it will be accepted.
If timing is urgent, use the expedited apostille path. If your document must be mailed or physically submitted, the traditional paper apostille option may be the better fit.
Complete the booking form with your document type, destination country, digital document details, and delivery needs.
This option is only available for digital documents. Physical document will need to be scanned or converted.
