What This Service Is For

Electronic Apostille is for eligible digital documents that need authentication for use in a Hague Convention country and can be processed through an electronic apostille path.

  • Eligible digitally prepared documents
  • Online notarized documents
  • Digital affidavits and declarations
  • Electronic business documents
  • Documents requiring email delivery
  • Documents where mailing originals is not preferred

Important: Confirm Digital Acceptance First

Not every country, agency, school, consulate, or receiving party accepts electronic apostilles for every document type.

Before booking, confirm whether the recipient will accept an electronic apostille or if they require a traditional paper apostille.

What You Need

  • Digital document ready for review
  • Receiving country name
  • Recipient or agency instructions
  • Signer details, if notarization is needed
  • Preferred email for delivery

Digital Document Review

We review your file before processing to confirm whether it appears eligible for electronic apostille, needs electronic notarization, or should be handled through a traditional paper apostille path.

Electronic Delivery

When the document qualifies, the completed electronic apostille is delivered digitally with verification details for the receiving party.

Personal Documents

Electronic apostille may be useful for eligible digital personal documents, authorizations, affidavits, declarations, and other files prepared for international submission.

  • Digital affidavits
  • Authorization letters
  • Personal declarations
  • Online notarized forms

Business Documents

Use electronic apostille for eligible digital business documents where the receiving party accepts electronic authentication.

  • Electronic contracts
  • Digital powers of attorney
  • Corporate resolutions
  • Business authorizations

School & Legal Documents

Some educational and legal documents may require specific certification steps before they can be apostilled electronically or traditionally.

  • Digital transcripts
  • School letters
  • Legal declarations
  • Electronic court-related documents

How It Works

  • Submit the booking form below
  • Provide the destination country and document type
  • Upload your digital document for review
  • Complete online notarization if required
  • Your document is routed through the correct electronic apostille process
  • The completed document is delivered electronically when finished

Electronic vs. Paper Apostille

Electronic apostille is designed for qualifying digital documents and electronic delivery. Paper apostille is better for original wet-ink documents, certified originals, or recipients that require physical documents.

Before You Book

Electronic apostille can save time, but the receiving party’s rules control whether it will be accepted.

  • Confirm the receiving country accepts the apostille format
  • Confirm the agency accepts electronic delivery
  • Upload the exact document you need processed
  • Include any foreign agency instructions
  • Do not book electronic apostille for wet-ink originals unless instructed

Need the Faster Route?

If timing is urgent, use the expedited apostille path. If your document must be mailed or physically submitted, the traditional paper apostille option may be the better fit.
