What This Service Is For

Mobile notary service is for documents that need an in-person notarial act, physical signature, witness coordination, or a notary to travel to a home, office, hospital, care facility, or other agreed location.

  • Powers of attorney
  • Wills and estate documents
  • Affidavits and sworn statements
  • Acknowledgments
  • Oaths and affirmations
  • Real estate and loan closing documents

Before You Book

Every signer must have valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID and must be physically present for the appointment. Some documents may require witnesses, additional signers, or special handling.

If your document can be notarized online, Remote Online Notarization may be faster and less expensive.

What You Need

  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Unsigned document ready at appointment time
  • All required signers present
  • Witnesses, if your document requires them
  • Safe appointment location

Where We Meet

Mobile notary appointments can be arranged at homes, offices, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, law offices, real estate offices, and other approved locations.

Need Fingerprinting?

If you need FD-258 ink fingerprint cards, use the dedicated mobile fingerprinting service instead of mobile notary.

Personal Documents

Mobile notary service is commonly used for personal, family, estate, and authorization documents that need physical signing.

  • Powers of attorney
  • Wills
  • Medical authorizations
  • Consent forms

Legal & Business Documents

For legal offices, businesses, and professionals who need a notary to come to a client, office, or signing location.

  • Affidavits
  • Business authorizations
  • Corporate paperwork
  • Legal declarations

Real Estate & Closings

Mobile notary can support real estate documents, loan packages, seller documents, and closing-related paperwork when in-person signing is required.

  • Closings
  • Seller packages
  • Deeds
  • Real estate affidavits

How It Works

  • Submit the booking form below
  • Provide your location, document type, and appointment details
  • Confirm the number of signers and notary stamps needed
  • Have valid photo ID ready at the appointment
  • Sign only when instructed by the notary
  • Receive completed notarization after signing is finished

Need Another Service?

If your document is being used outside the United States, it may need apostille or embassy legalization after notarization.

Before the Appointment

A smooth mobile notary appointment depends on having the document, ID, signers, and witnesses ready before the notary arrives.

  • Do not sign before the notary arrives
  • Confirm all signers have valid ID
  • Confirm witnesses if required
  • Make sure the document is complete
  • Have a quiet signing area available

Remote Online Notary May Be Faster

If your document is eligible for online notarization, RON may be a better fit. It lets you complete the notarization by secure video meeting without waiting for a mobile appointment.

How It Works

How Mobile Notary Booking Works

After booking, you will receive confirmation and access to your meeting page. Use that page to provide the meeting address, signer details, and any document instructions.

1
Book your mobile notary appointment.
Choose your appointment time, number of signers, number of notary stamps, and complete checkout.
2
Open your meeting page after booking.
Your confirmation email will include your meeting page. Add the meeting address directly on that page after booking.
3
Add signer and document details.
Provide each signer’s full name, the document type, and whether the document needs to be printed before the appointment.
4
Receive final notary confirmation.
Once a notary is assigned, you will receive a second confirmation with the appointment details and your notary’s contact information.
5
Prepare for the appointment.
Have valid government-issued photo ID ready. Do not sign the document before the notary arrives unless you are specifically instructed to do so.
6
Meet the notary onsite.
The notary will contact the signer when onsite and complete the notarization at the confirmed meeting address.
7
Complete document handling, if needed.
If return handling is required, documents may be scanned, emailed, shipped, or mailed to the final recipient based on the instructions provided.
Important: Add the meeting address on your meeting page after booking. This keeps the appointment details tied to your order and helps the assigned notary confirm the location accurately.
Note:

(Requires up to 24 hours advance notice) Pressed for time? Try a Virtual notarization.

Additional travel fees will be added for locations outside of our normal service area. Please call (516) 210-6661 for same day on site visits.

Please be sure to complete ID Verification using the link on the meeting page.
